Island Life

I'm spending summer at the west coast of my beautiful island, where all the roads take you to the most amazing beaches you could ever visit. I have spent the past few weeks soaking up the sun from beach to beach, because that's how puerto ricans do every summer (or possibly any time of the year). We're proud to say we have an actual eternal summer going on. The secret to surviving the hot temperatures on a tropical island like this one, is to avoid wearing dark colors. My favorite color palette has to be whites and blue hues. These two colors allow me to feel and stay fresh through the day, and they also do a good job on keeping me in a good mood. Last but not least, the best way to beat the heat is to refresh your body with a good frozen treat. Hey, did I missed the ice cream truck?
